Role Overview
As Pet Groomer & Salon Trainer (Salon Experience Lead), you'll deliver professional grooming services, train bathers and stylists, and ensure exceptional pet parent experiences. This full-time role supports high-performing teams while upholding PetSmart's vision of quality pet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train, mentor, onboard associates through certification; identify stylist candidates; delegate tasks and handle grievances.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, and maintain cleanliness/safety standards.
- Perform expert grooming: Full baths, brushes, nail trims, and more per PetSmart procedures; report sick pets and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Guide associates without direct reports.
