Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services while leading team development. Support bathers and stylists through certification, ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, and drive salon performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Develop new stylists via PetSmart's certification and academy programs.
- Perform full grooming services, nail trims, and sanitary care per standards.
- Manage pet parent interactions, bookings, and sales promotions.
- Maintain salon sanitation, report pet health issues, and ensure compliance.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. Guide associates without direct reports.
