Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services with exceptional quality and care. This leadership role supports high-performing teams by training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program, ensuring outstanding pet parent experiences and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate associate development: onboarding, mentoring, coaching, feedback, and certifications.
- Perform full grooming services: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Drive pet parent engagement: greet, recommend services, handle concerns, rebook appointments.
- Maintain salon standards: cleanliness, safety, inventory; report issues promptly.
- Boost sales through promotions, upselling, and metrics achievement.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Guide associates without direct reports.
