Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services with exceptional quality and care. This leadership role supports high-performing teams by training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program, ensuring outstanding pet parent experiences and salon success.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Facilitate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching; guide associates through certification; delegate tasks and handle grievances.
• Salon & Store Experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, maintain cleanliness/sanitation, perform full grooming menu, drive sales and rebookings.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure policy compliance, monitor pet health, communicate needs to leaders, and assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

Requires 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, proficiency in tools/computers, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide associate development.
