Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains emerging talent, and elevates the salon team. This full-time role demands leadership without direct reports, focusing on associate development, pet parent satisfaction, and salon excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification; provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, resolve concerns, promote sales.
- Execute grooming: Perform baths, full grooms, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain operations: Ensure cleanliness, safety, inventory; report issues; assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, communication skills, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. Passion for pets and team leadership essential.
