Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains associates, and elevates the salon team. This full-time role demands leadership without direct reports, focusing on pet care excellence, customer satisfaction, and salon performance in our Renton store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, ensure rebookings.
- Execute grooming: Perform baths, brushes, full grooms, nail trims safely per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain operations: Uphold cleanliness/sanitation, report pet health issues, communicate needs to leaders.
- Boost metrics: Achieve sales targets, engage associates for high performance.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and poise under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership mindset essential.
