Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services, trains associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent experiences. This full-time role supports high-performing teams, drives salon sales, and upholds PetSmart's standards for pet care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor associates, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Enhance salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, drive rebookings/promotions.
- Perform grooming: Execute full baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain operations: Ensure cleanliness, report pet health issues, communicate needs to leadership.
- Drive performance: Promote sales, achieve targets, assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and ability to handle pressure. Guide associates without direct reports.
