Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services with exceptional quality and care. This full-time role supports high-performing teams by training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program, ensuring outstanding pet parent experiences and salon operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Train, mentor, onboard associates; guide through bather/stylist certification; provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
• Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, maintain cleanliness/sanitation.
• Perform expert grooming: Full baths, brushes, cuts, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Ensure pet safety: Report injuries, transport to vet if needed, uphold humane conditions.
• Collaborate: Communicate trends to leaders, assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

Requires 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
