Role Overview
As PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer), you'll deliver professional grooming services while leading team development. Support bathers and stylists through certification, ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, and drive salon success upholding our vision of quality pet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train, mentor, onboard associates; guide through bather/stylist programs; provide feedback for reviews and promotions.
- Enhance salon experience: Greet pet parents, manage bookings, recommend services, drive rebooking and sales promotions.
- Execute grooming services: Perform full baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards; maintain humane conditions.
- Ensure operations: Uphold cleanliness, report issues, communicate needs to leaders, assist other departments as required.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and proficiency in tools/computers. No direct reports but guide associate growth.
