Role Overview
As PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead in Warwick, RI, you'll deliver top-tier grooming services, train emerging stylists, and elevate the salon team. This full-time position demands passion for pets, leadership, and customer focus to create memorable experiences for pets and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification; provide performance feedback.
- Drive salon excellence: Perform baths, grooming, nail trims; maintain hygiene/safety standards.
- Enhance pet parent experience: Greet, consult, rebook appointments, promote services/merchandise.
- Optimize operations: Manage bookings, report needs, ensure compliance with policies/ethics.
- Boost performance: Identify academy candidates, delegate tasks, celebrate team wins.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and calm under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
