Role Overview
As Pet Groomer & Salon Trainer in Washington, PA, you'll deliver professional grooming services, train new associates, and ensure exceptional pet parent experiences. This leadership role supports salon success through mentoring, operations, and sales growth—no direct reports but heavy influence on team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification; provide performance feedback.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales targets.
- Execute grooming: Perform baths, brushes, full grooms, nail trims safely per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain standards: Ensure cleanliness, pet welfare, report issues, communicate needs to leadership.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, communication/organizational skills. Thrive under pressure with pet safety focus.
