Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, and certify bathers/stylists; provide performance feedback and identify academy candidates.
- Excel in salon operations: Perform baths, grooms, nail trims, and more while maintaining cleanliness and humane standards.
- Enhance customer experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, handle bookings, and promote rebookings/sales.
- Ensure compliance: Uphold policies, monitor pet health, report issues, and communicate needs to leadership.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. Guide associates without direct reports.
