Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services with a focus on pet care and quality. You'll lead by example, training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program, while ensuring exceptional pet parent experiences and salon performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach associates; guide certifications; identify academy candidates; delegate tasks; handle grievances; celebrate successes.
• Drive salon/store experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, maintain standards, perform full grooming/bath services, ensure pet welfare.
• Operational excellence: Report trends, communicate needs, uphold policies, assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
