Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer Trainee (Pet Stylist in Training) in Brighton, Colorado, you'll receive hands-on training from industry-leading stylists through PetSmart’s Grooming Academy. This entry-level role builds foundational grooming skills while ensuring pet safety, customer satisfaction, and salon excellence. Ideal for animal lovers eager to launch a grooming career.
Key Responsibilities
- Under supervision, deliver full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Engage pet parents to recommend wellness solutions, manage appointments, and drive salon sales.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Handle check-ins/outs, client records, reminder calls, and rebookings.
- Collaborate across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience preferred (technical exam may apply). Must complete PetSmart’s Salon Academy and safety certification.
