Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Alhambra, California, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, educate on curriculum benefits, and ensure safe, clean environments. This role demands flexibility, pet passion, and customer focus in a dynamic retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and merchandise across channels.
• Deliver classes per curriculum, schedule sessions, and maintain all related paperwork.
• Create safe class environments, clean training areas, and respond to sick/injured pets.
• Educate associates as training expert and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Must handle pressure, organize details, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
