Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences using our proven curriculum. You'll engage pet parents, sell classes, ensure safety, and contribute to a welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions, managing pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, or online.
• Actively promote and sell training programs while educating on benefits.
• Maintain all training records, schedules, and recognize team sales efforts.
• Ensure clean, safe training areas and respond to pet health emergencies.
• Collaborate across departments, recommend merchandise, and uphold company policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Must handle pressure, lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to pets, noise, and wet environments is common.
