Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer at our Beaufort location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Accredited instructors educate on our curriculum, sell classes, and ensure safe, fun environments for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell and schedule training classes across channels.
- Maintain paperwork, cleanliness, and safety in training areas.
- Educate associates as pet training expert; recognize sales contributions.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a dynamic store environment.
