Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Buford, GA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, ensure safety, and educate on our proven curriculum. This role demands energy, pet passion, and customer focus in a dynamic store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead training classes, managing pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, or online.
• Drive sales by educating on curriculum benefits and recommending merchandise.
• Maintain clean, safe training areas; handle sick/injured pets promptly.
• Schedule classes, manage paperwork, and train store associates as SME.
• Assist other departments and uphold company policies.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Excel with computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in moderate-noise settings.
