Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Burnaby, British Columbia, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and education across in-person, phone, and online interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences and training outcomes
- Actively sell and schedule training classes
- Maintain paperwork, cleanliness, and safe environments
- Educate associates as training subject matter expert
- Handle sick/injured pets and recommend merchandise/services
- Assist other departments and follow company policies
Experience & Skills
Require 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling, and strong communication/organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
