Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Caguas, Puerto Rico, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell training services while ensuring safety and excellence in every class.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain all training paperwork and schedule classes per company guidelines.
- Ensure safe, clean training areas; handle sick/injured pets immediately.
- Collaborate across departments, recommend merchandise, and recognize team contributions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, handle pets/animals, and thrive in dynamic pet retail environments.
