Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead training classes, managing pet parent interactions via phone, in-person, or online.
- Actively promote and sell training programs, educating on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain records, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Handle emergencies like sick pets, recommend services, and assist other departments.
- Foster a culture of belonging, recognizing team contributions.
Experience & Skills
Requires 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a moderate-noise environment.
