Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Charleston, SC, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell training services while ensuring safety and excellence in every class.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Sell training classes across channels and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
• Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
• Recognize associates and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling, and strong communication/organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a dynamic store environment.
