Key Responsibilities

• Lead positive training sessions for pets and owners, ensuring safety and success.
• Actively promote and sell training classes via in-store, phone, and online channels.
• Handle pet parent inquiries, concerns, and outcomes professionally.
• Maintain training areas, paperwork, and schedules while educating store associates.
• Respond to pet health issues, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Requires 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to animals, noise, and wet environments is common.
