Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Delray Beach, Florida, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, ensure safety, and foster a welcoming store environment. This role suits animal lovers with retail savvy, offering flexibility and rewards in a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training classes via phone, in-person, or online, prioritizing pet parent satisfaction and outcomes.
• Proactively sell classes and educate on curriculum benefits; handle concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and a clean, safe training area.
• Serve as training expert for store associates, recognizing sales contributions.
• Respond to pet health issues, recommend services/merchandise, and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays required.
