Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Etobicoke, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and excellence in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits across channels.
- Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Serve as training expert for associates, recognize sales contributions.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, assist other departments, and follow policies.
Experience & Skills
Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, strong organization, communication, and physical ability to lift 50lbs+ in a pet-filled environment.
