Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer engages pet parents and delivers expert training services using our proven curriculum. You'll promote classes, ensure safe environments, and drive positive outcomes in a dynamic retail setting. This role demands flexibility, pet passion, and customer focus in Fajardo Municipio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork and schedules per company standards.
• Keep training areas clean, safe, and presentable; handle sick/injured pets immediately.
• Train store associates as subject matter expert and recognize sales contributions.
• Recommend merchandise/services and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexible scheduling required.
