Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Federal Way, Washington, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and conduct classes using our proven curriculum, ensuring safety and satisfaction for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Drive sales of training classes and related merchandise across channels.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and clean training areas.
- Educate store associates as pet training expert; recognize contributions.
- Ensure safety, handle sick/injured pets, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Must thrive under pressure, lift 50+ lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include standing, bending, and pet handling in a lively store setting.
