Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Florence, South Carolina, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and exceptional service in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online, resolving concerns promptly.
- Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain all training paperwork, schedule classes, and keep areas clean/safe.
- Serve as training expert for store associates and recognize sales contributions.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, handle pets/animals, and thrive in moderate-noise, pet-hair environments.
