Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences, educates pet parents, and upholds our vision. Accredited in our Training Instructor Course, you'll engage customers across phone, in-person, and online channels while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences and resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell and schedule training classes per company guidelines.
- Educate on curriculum benefits and serve as store training expert.
- Ensure safe, clean training environments and handle pet emergencies.
- Recommend merchandise, assist other departments, and follow policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training accreditation, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, and strong communication/organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a dynamic store setting.
