Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safe, clean environments. This role demands flexibility, pet expertise, and customer focus in a dynamic retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online, resolving concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits across channels.
• Maintain all training paperwork, schedule classes per company guidelines, and keep areas clean/safe.
• Serve as training expert for store associates, recognize contributions, and recommend merchandise.
• Handle sick/injured pets immediately, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Thrive under pressure with organizational skills and schedule flexibility. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
