Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Greenfield, Indiana, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, ensure safety, and educate on our proven curriculum while contributing to store success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
- Drive sales of training classes and related merchandise across channels.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, schedules, and clean training areas.
- Ensure safety for all pets and people; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
- Educate associates as training expert and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Must handle pressure, organize effectively, and flex for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and animal exposure in a dynamic environment.
