Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers exceptional training experiences using our proven curriculum. You'll engage pet parents, sell classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success in Greenfield, Wisconsin. This role demands energy, pet passion, and customer focus in a dynamic retail setting with live animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead positive training sessions over phone, in-person, or online while managing pet parent expectations.
• Actively promote and sell training programs to drive enrollment.
• Maintain clean, safe training areas and handle pet health emergencies.
• Educate associates as the local training expert and recognize sales efforts.
• Assist other departments, recommend merchandise, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must excel in communication, organization, pressure handling, and lifting up to 50lbs in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and occasional wet conditions.
