Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Engage pet parents via phone, in-person, or online to sell and deliver training services.
- Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean and safe.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments.
- Educate associates as the pet training expert and recognize sales contributions.
- Follow all policies, ensuring pet parent satisfaction and positive outcomes.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and handling live animals in a moderate-noise environment.
