Role Overview

PetSmart Pet Trainers deliver positive reinforcement-based training using our proven curriculum. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions over phone, in-person, or online while prioritizing pet parent satisfaction.
• Actively promote and sell training programs, educating on curriculum benefits.

• Handle sick/injured pets promptly, including vet transport if needed.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets, noise, and wet areas. Depth perception and teamwork are essential.
