Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group and private training sessions while prioritizing pet parent satisfaction and outcomes.
• Actively promote and sell training packages via in-store interactions, phone, and online channels.
• Maintain accurate records, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean and safe.
• Handle emergencies like sick pets, collaborate across departments, and recognize team contributions.
• Uphold company policies, foster a culture of belonging, and recommend merchandise/services.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and schedule flexibility are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and exposure to pets/noise.
