Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Las Vegas, Nevada, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and excellence in every interaction. This role suits animal lovers with retail experience ready to educate and inspire.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online, resolving concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork and schedule classes per company guidelines.
• Ensure a safe, clean training environment and respond to pet health issues.
• Collaborate across departments, recommend merchandise, and recognize team contributions.

Experience & Skills

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience.
• PetSmart Training Instructor Course accreditation.
• Computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.

Physical Demands

Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), handle pets in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair exposure. Depth perception required.
