Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences, educates pet parents, and upholds our vision of exceptional pet care. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, you'll engage customers in-store, online, or by phone, ensuring safe, fun classes that build pet-parent bonds.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding pet parent experiences and resolve concerns promptly.
- Actively sell and schedule training classes across channels.
- Maintain all training paperwork and store cleanliness.
- Educate associates as the local pet training expert.
- Ensure safety, handle sick/injured pets, and recommend merchandise.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and handling live animals in a dynamic pet environment.
