Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Las Vegas, Nevada, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, ensure safety, and uphold our commitment to exceptional pet care. This role demands flexibility, passion for animals, and customer focus in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; address concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
• Serve as training expert for associates, recognize sales contributions, and assist other departments.
• Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to animals/noise. Flexible scheduling required.
