Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in Lawrenceville, Georgia, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell training programs while ensuring safety and exceptional service in a fast-paced store setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online, addressing concerns promptly.
- Drive sales of training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Serve as training expert for store associates and recognize sales contributions.
- Respond to sick/injured pets, assist other departments, and recommend products/services.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle pets in moderate noise/wet environments with pet hair exposure.
Experience & Skills
- 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience.
- PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation required.
- Strong communication, organization, computer skills; composure under pressure; flexible scheduling.
