Role Overview
As a Pet Trainer in our Lebanon, PA store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and conduct classes using our proven curriculum while ensuring safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; address concerns promptly.
- Sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
- Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
- Recognize associates for training sales and assist other departments.
- Handle sick/injured pets, recommend merchandise, and follow all policies.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50+ lbs, work in pet hair/wet environments with moderate-high noise and live animals.
Experience & Skills
- 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience.
- PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation required.
- Strong communication, organization, computer skills; composure under pressure.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
