Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Leduc, Alberta, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes while ensuring safety and excellence in every interaction. This role demands energy, pet love, and customer focus in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork and schedule classes per company guidelines.
• Ensure safe, clean training areas; handle sick/injured pets immediately.
• Collaborate across departments, recommend merchandise, and recognize team contributions.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Excel with strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
