Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer at our Leesburg store, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Accredited instructors like you educate on our curriculum benefits, sell classes, and ensure safe, clean environments. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is key in this dynamic retail role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and merchandise across channels.
• Maintain all training paperwork and schedule classes per company guidelines.
• Create safe class environments and respond to sick/injured pets, including vet transport if needed.
• Educate associates as training expert and recognize sales contributions.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication. Must handle pressure, organize details, and lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments common; reasonable accommodations available.
