Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in Los Angeles, CA, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success while working flexibly across evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Sell training classes proactively and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain paperwork, schedule classes, and keep training areas clean/safe.
• Handle sick/injured pets, recommend services, and assist other departments.
• Recognize team contributions and embody Belonging culture.

Experience & Skills

Require 1-2 years customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organization, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs essential. Exposure to animals, moderate noise, and wet environments common.
