You'll foster safe, positive environments in our Lynchburg store, educate on training benefits, and contribute to a culture of belonging and recognition. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online, addressing concerns promptly.
- Proactively sell and schedule training classes while promoting the full curriculum.
- Maintain all training documentation and ensure clean, safe class areas.
- Act as training expert for store associates and recognize sales contributions.
- Respond to pet emergencies, recommend merchandise, and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years of customer-focused retail experience and PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation. Proficiency in computers, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and schedule flexibility are essential. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and handling live animals in a moderate-noise environment.
