Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in our Manchester, NH store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success through expertise and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork and schedule classes per company guidelines.
• Create safe, clean environments for classes and handle sick/injured pets, including vet transport if needed.
• Train associates as subject matter expert and recognize sales contributions.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication skills. Must handle pressure, lift 50+ lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing, bending, and animal exposure in a moderate-noise pet environment.
