Key Responsibilities

• Lead training classes, ensuring safe, positive experiences for pets and owners.
• Actively sell classes via in-store, phone, and online channels while educating on curriculum benefits.
• Manage paperwork, scheduling, and facility cleanliness; respond to pet parent concerns.
• Serve as training expert for store associates and recognize sales contributions.
• Handle emergencies like sick pets, recommend products, and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Requires 1-2 years retail/customer service experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Must handle pressure, lift 50+ lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include standing, pet handling in moderate-noise, pet-hair environments.
