Role Overview

As a Pet Trainer in our Mississauga, Ontario store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering positive training experiences aligned with PetSmart's vision. Actively promote and sell our curriculum-based classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success through expertise and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pet parent experiences via phone, in-person, or online; resolve concerns promptly.
• Actively sell training classes and educate on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork, schedule classes per company guidelines.
• Create safe, clean training areas; handle sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
• Educate associates as training SME, recognize sales contributions, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Seeking candidates with 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise.
