Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers expert training services, engages pet parents, and drives positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions via phone, in-person, or online while managing pet parent experiences and concerns.
• Actively promote and sell training classes, educating on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain all training paperwork, schedules, and store-area cleanliness.
• Serve as training expert, coaching associates and recognizing sales contributions.
• Handle pet emergencies, recommend merchandise, assist other departments, and follow all policies.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, handling animals in moderate-noise, pet-hair environments.
