Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers expert training services, engages pet parents, and drives sales of our proven curriculum. Based in Nashua, New Hampshire, this role combines hands-on pet interaction, customer education, and store support to ensure positive outcomes for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead training classes, ensuring safety for pets and people
- Actively sell and schedule classes via phone, in-store, and online
- Handle pet parent inquiries, concerns, and paperwork
- Maintain clean training areas and respond to pet health issues
- Educate associates as training expert and recommend merchandise
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, and strong communication skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
