Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Trainer delivers positive training experiences using our proven curriculum. You'll engage pet parents, sell classes, ensure safety, and contribute to store success while working flexibly in a dynamic pet retail environment. This role combines animal expertise, customer service, and sales in Orlando, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead training sessions over phone, in-person, or online, managing pet parent experiences and outcomes.
• Actively promote and sell training classes across channels while educating on curriculum benefits.
• Maintain paperwork, schedules, and a safe, clean training environment.
• Serve as training expert for associates, recognize contributions, and assist other departments.
• Handle pet health issues promptly and recommend merchandise/services.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 1-2 years retail experience, PetSmart Training Instructor accreditation, computer proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to pets/noise. Flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, holidays required.
